Energy Shield ‘Master’ Tells Woman He Can Protect Her From Running Rugby Tackle

We have to be careful of sams in this day and age. Whether it’s a Nigerian Prince needing some bank details or a mystic crystal ball reader charging $100 per appointment, there are a lot of people in the world trying to pull the wool over people’s eyes. Once they have their trust, they also have their wallets which is the aim all along in a lot of cases. Then you have the sad cases where the proponents of a particular faith set actually believe, devoutly, in the power of what they believe in. Enter the Yellow Bamboo cult, but as you can see in the video below, their faith is easily tested by pretty simple means.

The Yellow Bamboo people are a group that originated in Bali. Taking advantage of those holidaymakers in a more chilled out and receptive frame of mind, the group now boasts more than 30,000 members, which is amazing considering the far-fetched nature of their claims.

The Yellow Bamboo believe in the power of the chi. Members are trained, for a price, to harness the energy within and outside themselves to be used as a significant defence against assailants. Allegedly, if an attacker gets close enough to touch a Yellow Bamboo master, they will actually die themselves. The group has released videos of the power of their belief against tackles and fights, with varying success.

Some jokers in Perth decided enough was enough, being highly sceptical of the cult’s claims. The men, who are said to be rugby players and BJJ practitioners tested the masters’ ability to withstand attack. The bystanders, who are members of the group are dumbfounded when, somewhat obviously, a rugby tackle is not thwarted by the power of the chi.
