Khabib Drops Beastly Training Video That’s Made Conor Fans Completely Silent

With the hype surrounding the UFC 229 showdown between Conor McGregor steadily building, the Russian camp has counterpunched against the latest McGregor news with a startling compilation video showcasing Nurmagomedov’s moves.

But the footage used sets to dispel widespread belief that the renowned wrestler is a one-trick pony and can’t get it done by striking.

The footage may open with some trademark wrestling and take down action, but quickly leads to footage showing Khabib’s serious striking training.

He takes on various sparing and pad work partners in the 6-minute clip.

Many of the shots were taken and compiled from the Russian camp’s Instagram pages, with the final shot being some scary, scary footage of Nurmagomedov beating the crap out of a dummy.

The current UFC lightweight champion is the odds-on favourite to smash McGregor with punters believing it will be the Russian’s fitness that is the telling factor.

Conor is favoured to win the first round, but he had better fight aggressively and land hard punches quick smart if he is going to be any chance of winning the fight.

That is if you believe what the bookies say.

One man who also backs Khabib to get it done is his father:

“I think Conor understands that he wasn’t the real champion at 155.

He only fought against two lightweights and one of them choked him out. When he took the belt, there were about six lightweights who were stronger than him.

There are a lot of fighters who deserve a title shot more than Conor. For example, Poirier. He can keep a high pace, he tries to finish opponents. Poirier is the real contender.

Physically and tactically, Khabib is stronger than Conor. Khabib has better cardio than Conor and 100 percent Khabib has better wrestling and grappling. We will choke him out when we decide to do it. Of course, Conor’s left hand is very dangerous and he can throw the right uppercut.

That’s all.

Nothing else.”
