Stipe Miocic Reacts to Brock Lesnar’s UFC 226 Statement: “Miocic is a piece of sh**”

UFC heavyweight fighter, Stipe Miocic has opened up following his staggering defeat at the hands of Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 in Las Vegas over the weekend. The American champion lost the heavyweight title in the process, which he had been able to defend against the last four challengers. Cormier used eye-gouging as a tactic en route to the win, much to the dismay of many in the MMA world. However, the real action came after the knockout blows were delivered.

In case you missed it, a WWE-esque exchange took place in the cage post-fight, with Cormier calling out legendary fighter and human giant Brock Lesnar.

“There’s a guy that I’ve known for a long time,” Cormier announced dramatically. “He’s a wrestler; he’s an All-American, he’s a former UFC champion. I never thought I would fight him, but Brock Lesnar get your ass in here.”

Lesnar entered the ring, promptly pushed DC in the chest, beginning an entertaining, if not contrived exchange. Lesnar grabbed the microphone and retorted:

“Let me tell you something! I walked into this building and watched the heavyweight disasters from the beginning. Ngannou’s a piece of sh**. Miocic is a piece of sh**. D.C., I’m coming for you m*th**f***er!”

When asked for a reaction to being labelled so harshly, Miocic responded:

“I don’t care. I don’t care about what Brock says. I’m going home. I’m going to go see my wife who is going to have my child. Those are the two most important things, my wife and my child. That’s all I care about. It wasn’t my night. I care about this more than anything, but at the end of the day there’s more than just fighting.”

Miocic is open to a rematch at some.point in the future, however, with the Lesnar, DC train leaving the station, it is unlikely to happen before that fight is done and dusted. Check out the post-fight exchange below.
