McDonald’s Security Guard Draws Gun On Attackers After Getting Jumped
A security guard’s job is a tough one. It is not the highest paid, or most exciting occupation in the world with long hours spent standing with not much to occupy the brain.
Throw in some dreary Chicago weather and the security guard in the clip below must have been absolutely gagging for some action.
So when a bit of unrest broke out inside the McDonald’s he was guarding, the veteran guard was quick to pounce.
It has been reported that the man, in his 60s was at work, standing outside the Maccas when a fight involving two young men broke out inside the restaurant.
He left his post to help the staff out who were having a tough time with the unruly kids. Using his experience and skill he managed to extract the dudes from inside, but once outdoors, things got really nasty.
The kids turned on the man and with two targets to worry about, the guard had his hands full. In the fray, we see his can of pepper spray tumble to the ground. One of the kids peels off to go to grab it and use it against the guard. But as he tries to get the cap off, we hear startled cries of dismay from the patrons enjoying their burgers, and the show, until now.
Quick as a flash, the security guard has unsnapped his holster and whipped out his glock. Well, the kids understand the gravity of the situation pretty quickly as the guard points the gun directly at one of the kid’s heads and walks menacingly towards him. He bends down to pick up his pepper spray which the kid has wisely dropped. The kids decide to call it a day and slink away, defeated.
A spokesperson for McDonald’s said, “We will continue to take appropriate measures to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers.”
