Video Of Anthony Joshua Vs. Bullet Proof Glass Shuts Deontay Wilder Fans Up
The debate has raged for generations as to who exactly the world’s hardest puncher is. Boxing fans who grew up in the 80s and 90s are usually adamant that Tyson holds this glorified mantle. Recently Francis Ngounnou famously broke the record for the hardest punch ever thrown at the UFC institute in Las Vegas, registering a score of 129,000+ units. The previous record was 114,000. It is a pity back in the day that the same equipment didn’t exist. We aren’t able to get a fair test and thus speculation will always overshadow this debate.
But hold the phone! Another contender for hardest puncher in the world has arrived. Current unified world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua has thrown his hat in the proverbial ring as he smashed his way through two panes of bulletproof glass!
The stunt was part of an opening for world-class apparel brand and leading sponsor of Joshua, Under Armor in Amsterdam. Doing away with a traditional ribbon-cutting, the brand sought to make a splash with their new store opening, or should that be a smash.
As flashbulbs went off, in front of a modest crowd, Joshua sported a huge smile as he demonstrated enormous power to effortlessly break the glass that is designed to stop attacks on the store. Fans are unsure whether the stunt demonstrated Joshua’s power or the fragility of the store’s security more!
In any case, it certainly was an odd, but interesting way to draw interest. Joshua wore no eye protection as the glass shattered around him after he delivered his right overhand crosses to absolutely demolish the panels. He had just returned from a training holiday in Dubai in order to open his sponsor’s new store.
