Vision Of Deontay Wilder’s Reaction Upon Noticing Fury Rising From The Dead Emerges

When Tyson Fury stepped into the ring against Deontay Wilder tonight, it represented much more than just an opportunity for the British heavyweight to reclaim the world title he had never lost. In this last year, Fury has gone through an arc of personal redemption, losing nearly 150lbs in his bid to return to fighting shape. The fight had been billed as one of the biggest heavyweight title bouts in recent memory as both men came into the ring having never tasted defeat in their professional careers.

In one of the best interviews of the year, Fury appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast last month and talked candidly about how struggles with mental health issues had led him to abuse drugs and alcohol and caused him to gain a substantial amount of weight.

The ‘Gypsy King’ had fallen into a deep depression after achieving his life’s goal, defeating Wladimir Klitschko in a dazzling display over 12 rounds for the World Heavyweight Championship back in 2015.

Fury returned to the ring earlier this year with less-than-convincing wins against journeymen Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta, so a fight against Wilder was always going to prove to be a huge step up in competition for the Englishman.

Before his hiatus from the sport, Fury had become well-known for his hilarious antics at press conferences, like the time he dressed up as Batman and took down a ‘villain’ in full view of the media prior to his fight with Klitschko.

This trend appears to have been revived as earlier this week Wilder and Fury got into a melee at the final press conference before the fight. Wilder was the more agitated of the two as they faced off, with Fury remaining uncharacteristically calm throughout the staredown. Fury then proceeded to take his shirt off to the bemusement of those in attendance.

The fight ended in a majority draw after some suspect scoring. Tyson Fury was a clear winner according to commentators and many fans online. Fury survived two huge bombs which resulted in knockdowns, and was the far superior counter boxer.

The two men were in separable after the fight, hugging, kissing and complimenting each other, leaving boxing fans scratching their head.
