WATCH: Mike Tyson Might Actually Be a Ninja
There is no doubt that back in the day, Mike Tyson’s senses were razor sharp. The boxing legend could see punches coming from a mile away, a skill so well-honed that many believed he had a sixth sense, which, ironically the stay would have trouble pronouncing. But the ravages of time have seen the star battle weight fluctuations and obviously, he is not training the way he used to. However, hold the phone. Footage has emerged of Tyson, not so long ago, displaying some serious talent that once again has viewers questioning whether he may have some God-given ninja power.
The clip below is taken from Fox TV’s Crowd Goes Wild, a sports-based variety show. Tyson appeared way back in 2013 giving an interview about his career and progression. He also featured on the classic segment “Celebrities Throwing Sharp Objects”. The premise is pretty simple: each week a celebrity contender has to throw darts at a dartboard without the aid of sight.
Given the host’s reactions during the segment, not a great deal of contestants are able to even hit the board, let alone the scoring zone. Tyson’s first shot is in the right right area, narrowly missing a triple 20. But then something unimaginable happens: Tyson fires off two 25s in a row! Seriously close to the bullseye!
The host is beside herself as she praises the then-47-year-old. Tyson brushes off the praise, giving a backdoor brag that he warned them he was a Shaolin Monk. Iron Mike was posted as number one on the leaderboard with a score of 55 which is pretty impressive!
A number of pundits have said there is absolutely no way he could have done it and that the game was rigged. Claims of a see-through blindfold have been made, however unsubstantiated they may be. We for one, reckon Tyson did it, and could probably do it again!
